I think I may have found what you need. I googled "Houston Public Library", and this was the first hit. I clicked around the site until I found "Volunteer Opportunities", and this form came up.

You can either print off the form & mail it, or call, or visit the other linked site to sign up. Good luck, and thanks for volunteering!

You can read over 30,000 books written before 1923 on Gutenberg. But there is no such thing as a online library where you can read any book you want. After January 1, 1923, the author has to AGREE to give you the book for free. Most authors can't afford to.

Cory Doctorow is one of the few authors I know of that will allow you to read his books for free.

One advantage is convenience. A second advantage is basically an unlimited number of people using the same source. Third is the ease of connecting to other libraries and thus greatly increasing the selection of material./

This is mainly a collection of documents related to astrobiology. You may want to use as part of a course for university students in astrobiology.

The articles are fascinating. It begins with a section on organic matter in space. We learned about extrasolar planets, including "hot Jupiters." We read a discussion of these areas habitable exoplanets. And look at a scene of life transferred from Mars to Earth.

The following is a section on water which is essential for life, and what it would mean that life without water. Look at the Geomorphological records of water-related erosion on Mars, and we see a discussion of tides in Europe. And look at life in cold water, hot water and salt water.

In third place is a section on radiation and life. This includes magnetic shielding from cosmic rays, ultraviolet radiation and the effects of cosmic rays. The fourth section of gravity: gravitational effects at the cellular level, and the effects of gravity on plants and animals. The fifth section is about the complexity and the life: scaling phenomena, molecular self-assembly, and what would be like looking for fossils in an alien environment. The book concludes with a paper on future space missions relevant to astrobiology.

This book is full of useful material for astrobiologists!Rating: 5 / 5

Lots of information here. I learned more than $ 5,000 in intensive three days. I'm changing professions and covered all the main tools of SolidWorks. It is not about basic math and physics concepts needed engineering under his belt, but this does not bother me too much, because I still remember a lot of these things at the university.Rating: 4 / 5

This is a great tutorial for learning SolidWorks fast. With four hours of learning of this tutorial DVD, I have learned only to read and follow the instructions on the books for several days. /> <brRating: 5 / 5

I'm hopeless at learning from a book, so I'm biased towards the video format. I guess you could say I'm a dummy, but the SolidWorks for Dummies is too boring for me. I have the Bible, but SolidWorks is intuitive and easy to learn. This very long video course covers all the bases in a simple and to the point: there crackled and the voice is clear, which is very useful for me. The customer service was good too. When I called to ask about the version of SW used in the course, a person answered the phone, I spent a real engineer, and then I received the DVD in the mail two days after I ordered. Nice. I did the course of CATIA, including: CATIA V5 Video Tutorial DVD, 4th ed.Rating: 5 / 5
