There are many online courses but none of them are free. If there are any free courses no employer is going to take them seriously. Nearly all libraries require their librarians to have a Masters of Library Science for and American Library Accredited school. Also, there is no test to take to receive accreditation, you have to go to an accredited school to receive it. This website has a list of accredited schools. http://www.ala.org/ala/educationcareers/…
